   The base of most formulas. Dissolves everything else.

2. 2Glycerin

   A skincare MVP. Draws water into skin and supports the barrier.

3. 3Butylene Glycol

   Lightweight hydrator and solvent that helps ingredients absorb.

4. 4Cetearyl Alcohol

   A waxy, moisturizing "good alcohol". Not drying at all.

5. 5Niacinamide

   Vitamin B3. Balances oil, refines pores, fades marks and strengthens the barrier. A true all-rounder.

6. 6Glyceryl StearateFungal acne trigger

   Fatty acid or ester that softens skin. Can feed fungal acne.

7. 7Butyrospermum Parkii Butter/Shea Butter

   Rich, nourishing plant butter. Great for dry skin.

8. 8DimethiconeSilicone

   Silicone that gives a silky finish and a breathable moisture barrier.

9. 9Peg/Ppg-18/18 DimethiconeSilicone

   Gives a smooth, silky slip and helps lock in moisture.

10. 10Glyceryl Stearate SeFungal acne trigger

    Fatty acid or ester that softens skin. Can feed fungal acne.

11. 11Sodium Polyacrylate

    Gives the product its texture.

12. 12Caprylyl Glycol

    Lightweight hydrator and solvent that helps ingredients absorb.

13. 13Citric Acid

    Keeps the formula at a skin-friendly pH.

14. 14Tocopherol

    Antioxidant that protects skin and the formula.

15. 15Phenoxyethanol

    Keeps the product free from bacteria and mould.
